What is the difference between purchasing and renting autokitchen?

autokitchen PRO software licenses can be permanent (purchased) or temporary (rented). A software license is intended for one user, and can be installed on more than one computer to be used by the same user. The autokitchen purchase option comes with a USB security device that needs to be inserted for the software to run. The autokitchen rental option does not have a USB security device.

What are the main differences between autokitchen Studio and autokitchen PRO?

Both share the same engine and graphical interface and both create plans, elevations, perspectives and high quality color renders. autokitchen PRO is richer in scope and includes some unique features such as inset cabinetry, brand name appliances, a closet module, and video and panoramic capabilities among others.

If I start out with autokitchen Studio can I upgrade to PRO?

Yes. You can always upgrade your autokitchen Studio to PRO and pay the difference between Studio and PRO.

What catalogs are available?

Most autokitchen customers use the customizable universal framed, frameless, and inset catalogs, which include hundreds of door styles. autokitchen PRO includes tools to customize the cabinet catalogs and enter your own finishes, codes and descriptions. There are also some manufacturer-specific catalogs available for their dealers. Most brand-name appliances, wood carvings and countertops are included, and available upon installation.

Does autokitchen generate a cabinet report?

autokitchen PRO generates automated cabinet legends, detailed cabinet listings and different cabinet reports that can be customized to a large degree. Cabinet prices can be entered directly in the cabinet list or uploaded via a spreadsheet into your autokitchen custom catalogs.

Does autokitchen generate a cut list?

autokitchen PRO generates an automated parts list that is available in several file formats. The list can be itemized and summarized by panels/category.

The parts list can also be adjusted manually or customized according to your cabinet assembling methodology.

What kind of computer do I need to run autokitchen?

autokitchen PRO is a Windows-based software program. Here are the recommended requirements:

Operating System: Windows 10-11

Processor: Intel® i7 or equivalent (Please Note, the X series of Intel® i7 processors, is not recommended)

RAM: 16GB

Video Card: Nvidia or equivalent with at least 4GB of dedicated memory

Hard Drive: 80GB or above (with 10GB or more free disk space)

Mouse: 2-button with wheel

Monitor: Color monitor that supports a screen resolution of 1680x1050 or greater.

Can I use autokitchen on a Mac?

No. autokitchen requires a Windows-based computer.
